Job Summary

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Manager to lead our IT department at 3MAT Supermarket.
• As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our supermarket's technology infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation, security, and strategic development.
• Your role will play a critical part in enhancing our technology capabilities and supporting our overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the IT team, including technicians and support staff.
• Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the supermarket's goals and objectives.
• Ensure the reliable and secure operation of all IT systems, including point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and network infrastructure.
• Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, installations, and migrations.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions in a timely manner.
• Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive information and prevent data breaches.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts for IT services and equipment procurement.
• Oversee IT budgeting and expenditure, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to recommend innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand technology needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Provide training and technical support to staff to enhance their technology literacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven work experience as an IT Manager or in a similar managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and software applications.
• Experience with supermarket-specific technologies like point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, CCNA, ITIL) are advantageous.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Familiarity with e-commerce and online ordering platforms.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance related to data protection and privacy.
