We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Men's Engagement Programme Facilitator

Location: Cross River

Job Purpose

• The Men's Engagement Program Facilitator will support implementing and coordinating the Men's Engagement Program in Cross River.
• The role works closely with the MEP Associate to ensure the effective delivery of program activities and the achievement of program objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least a Bachelor's Degree obtained from any recognised institution of higher learning
• N/B: NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate is a MUST have to apply.
• Demonstrated experience and skills in organizing training with and for authorities, community and traditional leaders.
• Understanding the role of men in ending violence against women.
• Demonstrated experience working on community development issues.
• Demonstrated experience working with NGOs, particularly international NGOs, is highly desired.
• A deep understanding of gender issues, including the impact of traditional gender roles and the dynamics of power and privilege, is essential.
• Awareness of cultural differences and the ability to work sensitively within diverse communities is essential.
• Ability to advocate for gender equality and challenge harmful social norms is essential to the role.
• Understanding human rights principles and the ability to apply these principles to program design and implementation is essential.
• Demonstrating a commitment to personal growth, self-reflection, and continuous learning is valuable in this role.
• Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office suite and Outlook
• Excellent report writing skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Required oral and written communication skills in English and pidgin language.
