• We seek to employ qualified candidates to fill the position of Associate Professor / Reader at the Department of Public Health.

Job Requirements

• A Ph.D. in the relevant field from a reputable university
• Minimum of 7 years of teaching and research experience at the university level
• Track record of research publications in reputable journals
• Published at least 15 publications in credible and indexed journal and attracted not less than 100 citations, 20 h-index and 8 i10-index
• Must demonstrate evidence of having attracted Research Funds/Development Funds or academic contract
• Strong IT skills with ability to at least use Microsoft Office applications
• Must demonstrate evidence of active community outreach and engagement
• Strong commitment to student-centered learning and engagement with industry and society
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior faculty and students
• Active involvement in academic conferences and professional organizations
• Willingness to contribute to the university's community development initiatives
• Collaborative and innovative mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
