Entry requirements
A. Pre-National Diploma (Science & Technology) candidates must possess at least 4 passes at WASC, SSCE or GCE O’Ievel, NECO, NABTEB in the following subjects; English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology.
B. National Diploma Programme (Forestry Technology, Wood & Paper Technology, Wildlife Management).
i. Candidates for National Diploma in Forestry Technology, Wood & Paper Technology and Wildlife Management must possess a minimum of four credit passes in WASC, SSCE or GCE O’level, NECO, NABTEB at not more than two sittings. The Subjects must include Biology/Agric. Science and any of the following: Chemistry, Geography, physics, Economics, Mathematics, English and Statistics. At least passes in English, Maths/Statistics and chemistry are compulsory.
ii. Candidate for National Diploma Programme in Agric. Technology or Engineering must possess a pass in English and Credit passes in four subjects obtained at not more than two sittings in SSCE, GCE OIL, NECO. The four subjects must include Mathematics, Physics, Biology/Agric. Science or Chemistry and any other subject relevant to the programme.
iii. Candidate for the ND programme in Tourism must possess four credit/passes in WASC, SSCE, GCE OIL, NECO, NA8TEB at not more than two sittings in the following subjects: English, Geography/Economics and any of the following: History, Government, Maths., Biology, Food & Nutrition/Chemistry and French. At least a pass in mathematics is compulsory.
iv. Candidates applying into the National Diploma programme must have sat for the JAMB (UTME) Examination and pass at the required cut-off mark.
C. HND programmes (Forestry Technology, Agric. Extension & Management, Horticulture & Landscape Technology and Wildlife Management).
i. Any of the requirements for admission into the ND in Agric. Tech., Forestry Wildlife.
ii. A Minimum of lower credit pass at ND in agric. Tech. Forestry, Wildlife Management, Horticulture and Allied disciplines obtained from NBTE recognized College of Agriculture or Polytechnic.
iii. A minimum of one year cognate experience. In exceptional cases, National Diploma with a pass grade in ND exam that has two or more years cognate experience in the specific field may be considered for admission into any of the HND programmes.
Method of Application
Prospective candidates should write or call personally for application forms at the college of their choice. Forms can be collected with non-refundable fee of One thousand, Five hundred Naira only (N1,500.00) only in cash or certified bank draft made payable to the Provost of the College oftheir choice.
