Job Title: Account Receivable Officer - Renewable Energy

Job Summary
The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for daily receipt application and Reporting, customer account management, and working with various departments in resolving discrepancies.
This role will report to the Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to continue to develop your Accounts Receivable experience with a rapidly growing Renewable Energy Organization.
Main Responsibilities
Actively manage various customer accounts and Prepare Invoices on ERP.
Perform Accounts Receivable tasks including cheque collection, invoicing and Waybills, journal entries, account reconciliations, and customer queries.
Develop, implement, Sort and organize data, update customer records, and accurately facilitate transactions and adjustments.
Posting and ensuring that all sales transactions are correctly entered in the ERP.
Ensure that related sales contracts/documentation is properly filed and saved electronically.
Initiate adequate follow-up with customers and fellow employees in a timely manner.
Monitor and Manage Inventory and stock Ledger Maintenance.
Report and advice on stock Movement and re–order level on ERP.
Submit Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual Reports generated from the ERP accounting system.
Maintain Project Records and fillings.
Assist in internal and External Audit.
Assist with Budget Preparation.
Work with Accounts Executive in inventory reconciliation.
Supports accounting operations by filing documents and reconciling receivable statements.
Assist with the preparation of regulatory reports regarding transactions on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Engaging in ongoing educational opportunities to update job knowledge.
Deliverables / Report:
Daily and weekly Management Sales Report.
Monthly reports for all outstanding balances for accounts receivables and projects.
Monitoring and evaluation of the actual balance of each account receivables and Inventory on ERP.
Sending of correspondence to customer

Who we are Looking for
B.Sc. or HND in Finance / Accounting, Economics or Business Administration
The ability to use SAGE ERP software is an added advantage
Relevant Experience in the solar industry/Account receivable Role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially in Excel
Good knowledge and understanding of accounting best practices
The ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with other people within the company
An ability to prioritize and manage expectation
A keen eye for detail.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skill
Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-disciplined team
