Job Title: Motion and Still Graphics Designer

Location: Lekki / Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract (Fully Onsite)
Reports To: Head, Studio Operations
Works & Interacts With: Project Stakeholders; (Management, Team Members, Project Manager)

The Role

• We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our growing company. As a Graphic Designer, You will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail.

Work Location:

• Corporate Office at Ikeja and Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, and any other project location, as may be required to complete work responsibilities.

Contract Type:

• Fixed-term Contract Employment for 12 months, with an opportunity to be retained as a permanent employee, or contract renewed given satisfactory performance and completion of key milestones and KPI Deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
• Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size, and style and submitting them for approval.
• Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
• Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designers, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
• Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
• Communicating with clients about layout and design.
• Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as Photoshop.
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.

About You

• A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any accredited university.
• Proven track record of excellence and 3+ years of experience in Graphic Design.
• Industry experience in media and entertainment is relevant.

Ability to Use, Understand or Apply:

• Advanced knowledge of desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator.
• Effectively execute still and motion graphics designs
• Microsoft office suite, computer-aided design, and other Google systems.
• Marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.

Ability to / Demonstrate:

• Graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Creative and Innovative visual composition.
• A clear understanding of each project brief, digital marketing, production, website design, corporate identity and branding, advertising, and multimedia design.
• Excellent people and conflict management, with exceptional Decision making and leadership skills and the ability to inspire confidence and dedication.
• Creativity and innovation in delivering and producing concepts and ideas.

Benefits

• Salary: N150,000 - N200,000 Gross Monthly (The final offer to be decided by the level of expertise, qualification, and capacity).
