Role Overview

• As the Charismatic Presenter / Interviewer for Sidewalk9ja, you'll be at the forefront of our platform, engaging with individuals from all walks of life and sparking thought-provoking conversations.
• Your role is to create an inviting atmosphere for interviews, ensuring interviewees feel comfortable sharing their stories while showcasing your magnetic personality.(This position is fully remote)

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-the-street interviews to capture a wide range of viewpoints and reactions.
• Develop captivating and relatable questions that inspire meaningful conversations.
• Engage interviewees with your warm and approachable demeanor, encouraging open sharing.
• Collaborate with our content team to brainstorm innovative interview topics and approaches.
• Provide clear and concise context for each interview to enhance viewer understanding.
• Ensure interviews are respectful, unbiased, and shine a light on the authenticity of each participant.
• Maintain an active presence on our social media platforms, interacting with viewers and responding to comments.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 1 - 5 years work experience.
• Charismatic and engaging on-camera presence with exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal communication abilities and the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
• A genuine interest in understanding and learning from others, coupled with an open-minded attitude.
• Comfortable approaching strangers for interviews and filming in public spaces.
• Previous experience in hosting, presenting, interviewing, or Q&A sessions is highly desirable.
• Passion for community engagement and storytelling.
• Age range: 21 - 35
• Must reside in Lagos
• Microphones, tripods, and broadband internet connection will be provided as required.

Salary
N40,000 - N60,000 / month.
