Key Purpose

• The key purpose of this role is to provide for the efficient supply of all utilities to the production departments within the brewery.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, healthy and risk-free working environment
• Ensure manufacturing systems and instrumentation integrity
• Ensure engineering standards compliance
• Manage small site projects
• Lead asset care strategy
• Manage financial performance
• Plan the annual quarterly, monthly and weekly schedules such that the maintenance work is done in the available plant shutdown time.
• Design and arrange minor modifications to plant to eliminate performance problems
• Co-ordinate relationships between maintenance, engineering services, projects and brewing staff
• Evaluate the condition of problematic plant in order to inform management timeously to establish replacement programmes
• Control expenditure on projects

Profile

• Minimum of B.Sc / HND in Mechanical / Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering
• 2 –3 years Experience as a sectional Engineer will be an added advantage
• Analytical and evaluative skills

• Accurate, decisiveness and persuasiveness
• People handling and leadership skills.
• Analytical ability and attention to detail
