Job Title: Head, Cooperate Finance & Financial Advisory

Location: Lagos

About the Job

• Develop and propose the transaction/advisory business strategy to drive the team’s focus and choice of sectors, clients, and transaction undertakings.
• Lead business development meetings with Clients and appraise their needs and propose investment/transaction structure that meet such needs
• Seek mandates from identified growth sectors, and clients as may be appropriate
• Co-ordinate and directly supervise the evaluation of identified/signed mandates and design the execution strategy that would realize the transactions’ objectives
• Develop the Corporate Finance Desk
• Meet with prospective clients on their transaction and design transaction structures based on company’s need and financial/legal position, legal/regulatory requirements as well as market conditions.
• Lead transaction implementation and execution in the identified sectors, tier and industries
• Supervise analysis of transaction; perform financial analysis and in-depth reviews, impact analysis, financial models, and valuation.
• Review/develop Transaction Documents & regulatory requirements and filings for debt and equity capital market.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies as may be required for both debt and equity capital to ensure successful execution of client’s mandate
• Document and negotiate potential debt and or equity capital funding terms (including security structures, regulatory filings and rendition/report
• Conduct and supervise due diligence on target companies, along with appointed professional parties.
• Liaise with heads of internal teams, to ensure timely transaction execution and effective management of transaction process.
• Liaise with other investment houses as may be required for successful execution of client’s transactions
• Manage the process of fund-raising programmes on behalf of the client
• Sector Research and preparation of Investor Documentation
• Liaison with other professional parties
• Manage the investor engagement and relation process.
