Description 

• Our client is seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to oversee the financial administration of its company.
• The role holder will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company including financial information analysis, investment management, financial reporting, and budget preparation and execution, also for maintaining the financial integrity of our accounting systems and procedures.

Job Responsibilities 

• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and budgets.
• Monitor the cash flow of the company to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet cash flow needs.
• Develop quarterly financial strategic plans to support company goals
• Provide and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action
• Assess financing alternatives by considering risk, return, and market conditions
• Advise on investment activities and provide strategies for company action
• Prepare an analysis of financing needs for major capital equipment purchases, working capital, and other financing needs.
• Prepare and monitor the company's credit facility.
• Prepare periodic financial reports, forecasts, and statements.

Person Specification

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Accountant, 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Related experience with venture capital will be an added advantage
• Professional certificates from highly regarded institutes will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and logical skills
• Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
• Demonstrated proficiency in relevant accounting software.
