Job Title: Graduate Trainee (Finance / Internal Audit)

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Description

• We are looking for a dedicated Graduate Trainee with basic accounting and audit knowledge to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training program designed to provide hands-on experience and a solid foundation in accounting principles and practices.
• Assist in internal audit activities, including the review of financial records and processes to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of audit documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy for future reference.
• Assist in data entry tasks, including the recording of financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records.
• Support the reconciliation of accounts, ensuring that financial records are accurate and in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and summaries, contributing to timely and accurate reporting to management.
• Collaborate in the budgeting and forecasting processes, helping to analyze financial data and trends.
• Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing documentation, reconciling accounts, and addressing auditor inquiries.
• Ensure adherence to accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
• And any other task assigned to you.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, or a related field.
• 1 - 3 years of work experience.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and auditing concepts.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Eagerness to learn and a strong commitment to professional growth.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 monthly.
