Job Summary

• We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Pharmacy Intern to join our team in Festac and Victoria Island, Lagos. This internship opportunity is designed for individuals with 6 months to 1 year of experience in retail pharmacy who hold a valid pharmacy degree and license oath.
• The ideal candidate should reside in close proximity to Festac for easy commuting. This is an immediate employment opportunity with a commitment to work 4 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications and over-the-counter products to customers.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns, and offering appropriate product recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of prescription orders, inventory, and customer information.
• Support in the preparation, packaging, labeling, and proper storage of medications.
• Help in conducting regular inventory checks and restocking shelves as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain a clean and orderly working environment.
• Assist in handling cash transactions and processing insurance claims.
• Keep up-to-date with new medications, medical developments, and pharmacy practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• A valid pharmacy license oath is mandatory.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy setting is required.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, medications, and their uses.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused approach with a dedication to delivering exceptional service.
• Proximity to Festac, Lagos is mandatory.
• Must have a strong sense of ethics and confidentiality.
• Proximity Requirement: Must reside near Festac.
