Albarka Health Spring Foundation (AHSF) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization founded in 2012 by young researchers, it was incorporated by the corporate affair Commission (CAC/IT/91613) in 2016. Existing since October 2016, AHSF focuses on improving the quality of life of vulnerable populations across communities in North East Nigeria. AHSF operates both in an emergency and developmental context and has its program principally rooted in identifying gaps that affects the population or increases the vulnerability of the population and bridging those gaps through resource base planning and implementation.
AHSF has experience working with various partners in the Northeast, Northcentral and Northwest of Nigeria implementing Nutrition, WASH, Protection / GBV and Health. In the Northeast, we are working with UNOCHA (NHF) Nutrition & Health Projects, in partnership with PUI, and UNFPA. Similarly in the Northwest region of Nigeria, we have worked with NAVANTI Group, a US research-based Non-Profit Organization, on Food Security and Nutrition, to determine food availability, affordability and accessibility within conflict-clocked areas, in the northwest states: Katsina, Zamfara and Sokoto states respectively.

Bid should be on company letter headed paper clearly indicating the category ref N0. Dated and stamped.
Each bidder shall submit only one bid. Bidder who submits or participates in more than one bid will be disqualified.
The bidder shall present all the documents listed for the bid to be considered a responsive bid.
Failure to furnish all information or documentation required by the Bid Document will result in the is qualification of the bids
Bids submission can be in sealed hard copy envelop or by email using the email provided. Hard copy bids received in unsealed envelope or tampered envelope will be rejected, likewise soft copy must be in zip.
The bidder shall clearly indicate whom the bid category and the name, contact number and email address outside the main envelope.
The currency of the bid and payment shall be in Nigerian Naira (NGN)
Bids shall remain valid for a minimum period of three calendar months. A bid valid for a shorter period than that shall be rejected
The Bidder is expected to examine all terms (i) Delivery period, (ii) Price Validity Period of quote, (iii) Specification, (iv) Minimum of 2 years shelf life for the Drugs.
AHSF reserves the right to reject any or all bids if it fails to meet the criteria or are submitted after the stipulated closing date.
Only successful bidder(s) shall be notified and will be asked to sign a Local Purchase Order (Contract document) with Albarka Health Spring Foundation.
Any submission made after the stipulated date will not be considered.
Following the requirement of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Albarka Health Spring Foundation (AHSF) will deduct a 5% withholding tax from the total contractual sum. Also, note that AHSF- is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and is VAT exempted.
