We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintenance Officer

Location: Sabon-Lugbe, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments
• Managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
• Inspecting buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
• Plan and coordinate all installations telecommunications, heat, electricity etc. and refurbishments
• Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
• Inspect buildings structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
• Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
• Supervise all staff facilities staff custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc. and external contractors
• Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
• Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position
• Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Good analytical/critical thinking

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or HND in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience.
• Or OND / NCE / SSCE with 5 years of experience in a hotel facility
• Proven experience as a Hotel maintenance officer
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with Plumbing, Electrical and Mechanical works
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Relevant technical knowledge
• Problem solving skills
• Efficient and Organized
• Team Player
• Should reside in Kuje or Sabon-Lugbe areas (proximity to work is highly desired)
