Job Description

• We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven economic analyst with a high net worth and strong social media presence. The ideal candidate will have a passion to discuss and analyze economic trends and development on an on-air presentation platform while engaging our audiences with his professional expertise.
• As a seasoned economic analyst, you must be ready to bring game-changing economic trends and developments to life and join a community that values civic engagement and political consciousness for the people. The successful candidate will have outstanding on-air presentation skills and a proven track record of engaging audiences with debate topics and contents that are economic-centered.

Responsibilities

• We are looking for individuals with passion for digital broadcast and online media presentation.
• Applicant should have work experience in interviewing and writing, with strong English skills, while demonstrating excellent editorial judgement and conduct on social media.
• Research on economic-related topics, combining online sources, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication
• Develop positive and constructive relationships with sources across a wide range of industries, organizations and regions to bring diverse and well-informed voices into daily reporting.
• Attract, interview, study, and interact with targeted virtual communities and networks users.
• Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research.
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content original text, images, video or HTML that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
• Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
• Promote content on social media.
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
• Ensure all-around consistency in style, fonts, images and tone.
• Update website content as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Communications, Marketing, Business Analysis, Journalism, Public Relations, Media or equivalent.
• Proven working experience in Market Analysis with portfolio of proven written articles.
• Demonstrable social networking experience and analytics tools knowledge.
• Minimum of three years of experience in TV / Web / Media presentation.
• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.
• Proven experience in news reporting and ability to perform in front of the camera.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills, and knowledge of local, national, and international economic news and current events.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of social networks and the audience.
• Proven filming and editing abilities.
• Proven organizational skills, and ability to work autonomously under tight deadlines.
• Good editorial judgement, demonstrated ability to produce original and enterprising news reports.
• Ability to manage new and emerging technologies.
• Experience and/or knowledge of third party community sites and social networks such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and others.
• Experience with paid social media campaigns.
• Strong portfolio of previous work.

Key Skill Sets Preferred:
