A reputable company is currently seeking to employ suitably qualified candidate to fill the position below:

Job Title: Manning Manager

Location: Nigeria

Role and Responsibilities

Responsible for the operational performance of the department
Managing offshore crew with the assistance of Operations, Technical and Quality Managers.
Provide guidance to the managers on operational efficiency improvements.
Manage the recruitment, training and development of staff,
Implement and follow up on company policies and procedures.
Ensures compliance by monitoring and ensuring implementation of applicable human resources and company relates statutory requirements.
Ensuring current and past records of employees are in order and well documented.
Representing the Company as required in hearings.
Negotiate/coordinate collective bargaining agreement
Represent the best interests of the company in line with strategy and objectives
Maintain ties with suppliers, government and regulatory bodies.
Identify areas of potential cost savings, set targets and control expenditure within operational activities.
lead accountability for the department's safe operation of its activities, inline with the law and HSSE requirements.
Any other duty assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of B.Sc. or BA or Higher National Diploma in any relevant field.
Master's or MBA an added advantage.
Minimum of 5-10 years cognate experience as a manager.
Professional qualification CIPM / CIPD or SHRM or MLC will be an added advantage

Requirements

Must be between the age of 30 - 35 years
Must have good communication skills
Must be good in use of Microsoft package
Must be organised.
Must have ability to work under pressure
Must pay attention to detail
Must be confident.
Must be a goal driven
Must be proactive and takes initiative
Must have a strong leadership skills
Must have negotiation skills
