It was acquired in 2018 by Allianz and rebranded as Allianz Nigeria Insurance Limited In 2017, the company generated gross written premiums of N7.67billion representing an 86% growth over 2016 (N4.19billion). Job Description

• Review and assess risk methodologies across the organization 
• Design and implement the risk strategy of the company and ensure that lines of business have risk mitigation capacity both in personnel and risk systems.
• Ensure risk are managed within the set risk appetite of the company
• Develop, maintain and update risk governance framework, risk policies, risk appetite and risk limits.
• Instituting the risk culture company wide
• Provide leadership and direction for enterprise-wide risk management in the entity.
• Develop, maintain and update risk governance framework, risk policies, risk appetite and risk limits.
• Design and update the risk rating parameters
• Maintenance and update of risk register
• Analysis of Residual and Inherent risk and management of business continuity  plan
• Provide leadership and direction for Enterprise-wide Risk Management across the company
• Ensure capacity building on ERM across the company
• Provide regular reports to senior management and board on ERM.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any other related discipline
• Minimum of 12 years post NYSC work experience in Risk Management, preferably in the financial industry with at least 6 years in a managerial position
• Membership of one or more relevant professional bodies (i.e. ICAN, ACCA, CISA,  CRISC) is required.
