Job Description

• We are looking to Hire Medical doctors who can also work as Medical data analysts.
• Doctors who are yet to serve at Nysc are welcome to apply.
• The company would train you in Data Analytics.
• You would responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources, including medical histories, electronic health record, and billing claims;
• Cost reports and patient satisfaction surveys, etc., to help our company with process improvement, operations, and strategy, as well as cost reduction and improved patient experience.
• You would be responsible for organizing and maintaining patient information, including medical histories and examination results, and also suggest treatments based on data analyzed.
• As a medical data analyst your job would entail operating the electronic health record system and coding of information
• It also involves providing analytical solutions via reports, dashboards, tools, etc., for leadership and stakeholders across the organization that support business or clinical initiatives.
• You are responsible for providing clinical and non-clinical data to support department activities and guarantee that evidenced-based actions throughout the medical center.
• You woukd carry out data analysis, prepare, and present findings using a variety of databases and Microsoft Office applications, including Spreadsheet, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Your job also entails proactively sourcing data and developing data management plans to support hospital-wide performance improvement, compliance with all regulatory agency regulations (JCAHO, DHS, etc.), and care management initiatives; policies and procedures, medical quality review, and physician credentialing; as well as physician profiling and mitigation of all risks.

Requirements

• Education: Applicants are required to have a minimum of Associate Degree in Health Information Management or BSc. in Medicine.
• Certification: IT knowledge would be a plus to be considered for the job, but it is an advantage to the applicant
• Knowledge: It is essential that they know medical terminology, anatomy, pharmacology, etc. It is also vital that they can manage patient information and manage records as well. It’s important for candidates to have some clinical knowledge and experience working with healthcare claims data
• It is also important that applicants can perform statistical analysis and possess practical IT experience covering data warehouse, advanced knowledge of SQL for data analysis, and skills in Microsoft Applications, including Excel and Access
• Collaborative skills: Applicants must be able to work effectively with people from different departments and key stakeholders on complex workgroup projects
• Detail orientation: Medical data analysts are required to guarantee the accuracy of the analysis provided; hence applicants must be individuals who are able to take a critical look at every input to achieve a high degree of accuracy
• Computer skills: Medical data analysts are also required to provide analytical support and generate reports for clinical initiatives, so it is crucial that applicants have advanced skills with Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Access, and Word for data analysis and presentation
• Excellent analytical skills: Applicants must have the skills needed to analyze data using statistical methods and software, and also to explain and draw logical conclusions from the analysis of complex data sets
• Communication skills: It is essential that they can articulate ideas, concepts, and quantitative information both verbally and in writing to audiences of various backgrounds
• Organizational skills: They must be highly organized individuals with the ability to manage records, prioritize tasks, and work effectively on multiple assignments.
• Age range: 24 to 30 years old.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 / month.
