Job Title: Early Years Teacher

Location: Galadimawa, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• We are simply looking for early years teachers who will guide children through watching their daily online lessons at home.
• Children are homeschooled through online schooling. The teacher is like a governess ensuring children watch their daily school videos and explains difficult concepts to the children.
• The teacher will support with a nurturing approach.
• We have a curriculum, the teacher will guide through (Phonics, Writing, Reading, Activities, Bible studies).
• Come up with a curriculum for a 2 year old.
• This opportunity is great for an experienced teacher who is looking to step away from the classroom to offer more personalised, enjoyable lessons.
• The candidate should be passionate about developing exciting and relevant learning experiences for children both indoors and outdoors using the provided scheme of work.
• Prepare to plan and develop programs that would cater for the educational needs of children in early years learning.
• Ability to incorporate a variety of teaching and learning strategies.
• Keep accurate and updated on-going records and prepare reports.
• The position is charged with the responsibility of maintaining a detailed record of each child's progress.

Requirements

• The preferred candidate must have a (B. Ed) or (B.Sc. English) with a focus on early childhood development.
• Must have a minimum of 4 years in teaching early years.
• Must be computer proficient
• The candidate should also be committed to working in close partnership with parents.
• Be enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and be able to demonstrate a genuine care for young children.
• Ensuring the health and safety of children and staff is maintained during all activities.
• Assisting with the development of children’s personal/social and language abilities;
• Supporting the development of children’s basic skills, including physical coordination, speech and communication;
• Encouraging children’s mathematical and creative development through stories, songs, games, drawing and imaginative play
• Ability to communicate with young children at their level.
• Patient, compassionate attitude, with a friendly, energetic disposition.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 / Month.
