Job Title: Cleaner

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Overview

• As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a designated area, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for occupants, visitors, or customers.
• This position involves various cleaning tasks and responsibilities to uphold the cleanliness standards of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including fixtures and replenishing supplies.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Wipe down and sanitize high-touch areas like doorknobs and light switches.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Assist in maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while performing cleaning tasks.
• Ensure the safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and materials.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Request replenishment of cleaning products and materials as needed.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors and colleagues.
• Report any unusual situations or incidents to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in cleaning or custodial work is a plus but not always required.
• Must live around lekki and its environ
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move objects as necessary.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary
N35,000 monthly.
