Job Purpose

• We are seeking a highly creative and results-driven Social Media officer to join our organization.
• The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of content creation expertise and digital marketing acumen.
• In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic social media campaigns, crafting compelling content, and driving engagement across various social media platforms.

Job Description

• Running company social media advertising campaigns.
• Formulating high-quality novel written and visual content for each social media campaign.
• Building a social media presence by maintaining a solid online presence and monitoring company website metrics.
• Analyzing data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved their objectives.
• Utilizing SEO methods to increase site traffic.
• Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms.
• Building brand awareness by engaging relevant influencers.
• Managing our online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement.
• Responding to comments from posts, inquiries in the DMs on each of our accounts.
• He/she should be able to convert enquiriestopatronage.
• Overseeing customer service provided via social media.
• Conducting research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and then contextualizing your findings.

Requirements

• HND / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
• 3 - 10 years relevant work experience.
• Proven experience as a Social Media Officer, Content Creator, or Digital Marketer.
• Proficiency in using social media management tools e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social and analytics platforms.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
• Proficiency in the use of graphic design and video editing software such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, CorelDraw, Adobe illustrator, Adobe InDesign etc is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and extract actionable insights.
• Creative thinking and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• A passion for staying updated with the latest digital marketing and social media trends.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams and coordinating campaigns.
