Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Head to lead and oversee our extrusion department in the plastic recycling industry.
• The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the extrusion process, and ensuring efficient production of high-quality recycled plastic materials.
• This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in extrusion, and a commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire plastic extrusion process for high-quality recycled plastic materials.
• Monitor and adjust extrusion parameters to meet product specifications and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and address operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to optimize process efficiency and product consistency.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules for extrusion machinery.
• Apply DMAIC approach to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and Six Sigma tools for data analysis.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma projects to enhance productivity.
• Provide training and guidance on Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the extrusion team.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections.
• Analyze quality deviations and non-conformities.
• Identify process optimization opportunities.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Polymer Engineering (Desired)
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in extrusion processes, particularly in plastic recycling.
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing a diverse extrusion team.
• In-depth knowledge of extrusion machinery and processes.
• Familiarity with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control processes.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.
• Experience in the production of plastic injection mold machines and maintenance of HAITIAN machines.
• Experience in maintaining recycling machines like the Washing line (Grace Machine), Extrusion line (Grace and Technova Machine), Fitter line (Grace Machine), and Grinding Machine.
