Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager - PVC

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are seeking to fill the role of a Sales and Marketing Manager to head the sales of PVC Materials - Pipes and fitting. The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to promote PVC products.
  • Lead the sales team, manage key customer accounts, and collaborate with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility and market penetration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
  • Identify target markets and customer segments, creating strategies to effectively engage them.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product development and improvement.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, setting sales targets and providing coaching.
  • Motivate and incentivize the team to achieve sales objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement and recommending strategic actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Over 7 years of experience in sales and marketing within the plastics manufacturing industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • In-depth understanding of the Nigerian consumer landscape.
  • Proficiency in interpreting customer insights for strategic planning.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Proficient in CRM software and other sales and marketing tools.
