Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Head to lead and manage the maintenance department in their plastic recycling facility.
This critical role involves ensuring the efficient and continuous operation of their recycling equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional leadership skills, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.
This role demands effective leadership, a focus on safety, quality, and process optimization, as well as a commitment to budget management within the maintenance department, all while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage a diverse maintenance team, setting clear performance expectations, providing coaching, and conducting regular evaluations.
Implement Lean Six Sigma principles to enhance efficiency, minimize downtime, and identify opportunities for waste reduction and cost savings.
Coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and maximize equipment uptime for recycling machinery.
Cultivate a strong safety culture within the maintenance department, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
Develop and manage the maintenance department budget effectively, monitoring expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Implement lean maintenance principles and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes.
Collaborate with quality control teams to maintain and enhance equipment quality standards.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the maintenance department.
Drive initiatives to enhance overall production efficiency and equipment performance.
Maintain meticulous records of maintenance activities, improvements, and quality control procedures to uphold product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualification and Experience
M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related fields.
7+ years of experience in maintenance management, with a substantial background in the recycling industry.
Proven leadership skills and experience managing a diverse maintenance team.
In-depth knowledge of industrial equipment, machinery, and maintenance best practices.
Familiarity with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control processes.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.
Experience in Production of Plastic injection mould machines and Maintenance of HAITAN machines.
Experience in maintaining Recycling machines like:
Washing line – Grace Machine
Extrusion line – Grace and Technova Machine
Fitter line – Grace Machine
Grinding Machine.
