Manager, Site Acquisition (SAQ) at IHS Towers

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Manager, Site Acquisition (SAQ)

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description

• As the Manager, SAQ, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the Site Acquisition functions in the location assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all SAQ activities from site allocation to ITP issuance and provide support through the lifecycle from site-build to final acceptance.
• Provide inputs to Legal and Community Relations to facilitate discussions with landlords.
• Support efforts geared towards reducing Opex and Capex spends around SAQ.
• Develop and implement tools and practices for SAQ reporting.
• Determine and apply quality control standards to SAQ activities.
• Assess risks to SAQ activities.
• Liaise with relevant functions across the business to enable accurate and robust monitoring of the SAQ budget against project plans.
• Ensure processes for notification and/ or escalation are in place to report on both underspend and potential overspend.
• Track, monitor, and report benefits realization against planned SAQ targets.
• Promote communication between colleagues for the benefit of information flow and to curb any problems that may arise.
• Prepare and submit reports to the Senior Manager, Site Acquisition (SAQ)on all matters pertaining to the unit’s activities.
• Manage relationships with partners/ vendors.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Senior Manager, Site Acquisition (SAQ).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Real Estate, and/, or related discipline.
• Relevant Specialist Master’s/ MBA/ professional certifications e.g. PMP or PRINCE2 will be an asset.
• +10 years’ cognate experience.
