Job Title: Facility Manager
Location: Lagos Island, Lagos

Job Summary
The facility manager will manage our retail building(s) and be responsible for making sure that the building and its services meet the needs of our clients and the people who work in them.
You will be accountable for services such as cleaning and maintenance, day-to-day security, and parking, to ensure the surrounding environment is in a suitable condition to work.
You will also manage any building maintenance/ refurbishment with things like heating and air conditioning, and CCTV, to maintain the working environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of buildings to ensure that they meet health and safety standards and also the legal requirements. Need to manage the cleaning, waste disposal, catering, security, and parking of each site, while managing the budgets and keeping records of all payments.
Responsible for managing the office systems, which can often include IT, CCTV, and office equipment.
Managing any refurbishments, renovations, and office moves to ensure they all run smoothly and according to plan.
Financial forecasting/budgeting
Planning and overseeing building work/renovation
Allocating and managing space within buildings
Managing building maintenance activities
Coordinating cleaning, catering, and parking services
Organizing security and general administrative services
Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health, and security standards
Advising on energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Supervising multi-disciplinary teams of staff including maintenance, grounds, and custodial workers.
Show at-work technical competency, with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and managerial skills, and develop good working relationships with a wide range of people(Clients, Technicians, etc.) Need to be well organized and have excellent spoken and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, as well as customer and client management skills.
As you will be responsible for a budget, you will need to be able to make decisions quickly. Time management and the ability to handle a complex workload are important. Problem-solving is also an essential skill.
Other Work Description Added Are As Follows:
Ensure all bills at the above locations are done monthly and shared to all tenants
Keep and update rental record monthly for all properties
Oversee all maintenance and report to the office for any repairs to be done at various property locations including guest house, kaplan estat, mini estate, and other properties owned by the company.
Attend to all complains from short-let apartments and rented apartment owned by the company
Inspect ongoing site work
Keep records of maintenance of generators at all locations and routine inspection.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 3 - 5 years work experience.
Salary
N200,000 / month.
