Overall Function
We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and accomplished individual with a Ph.D. in Public Administration to join our esteemed faculty as an Associate Professor.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the academic and research excellence of the university while also actively engaging in teaching, mentoring, and service activities.
As an Associate Professor, you will play a key role in advancing the mission of the university and fostering the intellectual growth of our students.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching:
Develop and deliver high-quality courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels in Public Administration.
Implement innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance the learning experience.
Provide mentorship and guidance to students, fostering their academic and professional development.
Research:
Conduct cutting-edge research in Public Administration and actively contribute to the scholarly community.
Publish research findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences.
Collaborate with colleagues and students on research projects, fostering a culture of academic inquiry.
Advising and Mentoring:
Advise undergraduate students, guiding them in their academic and career goals.
Supervise graduate students' theses and dissertations.
Provide mentorship and support to junior faculty members.
Service and Engagement:
Engage in university and departmental service activities, including committee participation.
Participate in outreach activities, promoting the university's mission and building community partnerships.
Contribute to the development and improvement of academic programs and curricula.
Assist in student recruitment and outreach activities.
Professional Development:
Stay current with developments in the field and continuously improve teaching and research skills.
Pursue external funding opportunities to support research endeavors.
Develop and implement academic strategies and policies in line with industry standards and emerging trends in Public Administration.
Collaborate with industry partners and professional Public Administration organizations to facilitate internships, networking opportunities, and industry collaborations.
Qualifications and Skills
A Ph.D in the field of Public Administration from an accredited institution .
A strong record of scholarly research, including a publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a collegial academic environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
