It is an organization established to motivate, organize and unite people with an interest in community development agenda focusing on Protection, Environment, Education, Health and Peace Building.

Job Summary

• The M&E (Monitoring and Evaluation) position at Roadmap for Women and Youth Development in Damaturu, Yobe State, is an internship opportunity that involves assisting in the monitoring and evaluation of the organization’s programs.
• This role includes tasks such as data collection, analysis, and reporting, as well as contributing to impact assessments.

Job Purpose
The primary purpose of the MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning) Intern position at Roadmap for Women and Youth Development in Damaturu, Yobe State, is to support the organization’s mission of empowering women and youth by contributing to the effective monitoring and evaluation of its programs. The key job purposes include:

• Data Collection: Collecting data related to the organization’s projects and programs through various methods, such as surveys, interviews, and observations.
• Data Analysis: Analyzing collected data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement, providing valuable insights to the organization.
• Reporting: Preparing reports and documentation of program progress, outcomes, and impact to inform decision-making and funding requirements.
• Impact Assessment: Assisting in the development of impact assessments to measure the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
• Collaboration: Collaborating with the organization’s team members and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and alignment with project goals.
• Learning and Growth: Actively learning and acquiring new skills related to monitoring and evaluation practices, contributing to personal and professional growth.
• Ultimately, the MEAL Intern plays a crucial role in helping Roadmap for Women and Youth Development achieve its goals by ensuring that programs are on track, data is accurately collected and analyzed, and impactful insights are generated to drive positive change within the community.

What We Require

• The requirements for the M&E (Monitoring and Evaluation) Intern position at Roadmap for Women and Youth Development in Damaturu, Yobe State, include:
• Age: Applicants should be between the ages of 18 to 40.
• Relevant Experience: A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in monitoring and evaluation, data collection, or related fields.
• Passion for Community Development: A genuine commitment to and enthusiasm for the organization’s mission of empowering women and youth in the community.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to collect, analyze, and interpret data accurately.
