Job Title: Feedmill Manager

Location: Ado-Odo, Ogun

Job Description

• As a Feedmill Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and safe production of animal feed products.
• You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the feedmill, from overseeing production processes to managing a team of skilled technicians and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Production Management:

• Plan and oversee daily feed production operations, ensuring optimal output and quality control.
• Schedule and coordinate the manufacturing process to meet production targets.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, train, and mentor a team of feedmill technicians and operators.
• Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability among the team.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the production of high-quality feed products.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Safety Compliance:

• Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
• Investigate and address any safety incidents or concerns promptly.

Maintenance and Equipment:

• Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs of feedmill machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and work with maintenance staff to minimize downtime.

Inventory Management:

• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize inventory control.

Budget Management:

• Assist in the development and management of the feedmill budget.
• Monitor and control operating expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure the feedmill operations comply with all relevant standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess HND / B.Sc Degrees with 1+ years relevant work experience.
