Job Title: NYSC HR Intern

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description

  • We are currently seeking a highly motivated and intelligent NYSC HR Intern to join our team. If you have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for human resources, we encourage you to apply.
  • As an NYSC HR Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of human resources while contributing to the success of our organization.
  • This internship is designed for smart and driven individuals with exceptional academic records who have recently completed their undergraduate studies with a minimum of a 2.1 result/CGPA.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Support:

  • Assist in drafting job descriptions and job advertisements.
  • Participate in the shortlisting of candidates.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with applicants.
  • Assist in conducting initial candidate interviews.

Employee Onboarding:

  • Support the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
  • Assist in conducting orientation sessions for new employees.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain and update employee records and databases.
  • Assist in managing HR files and documents.
  • Handle general HR inquiries and requests.

Training and Development:

  • Assist in organizing training programs and workshops.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions.
  • Monitor and track employee training records.

Compliance and Policy Implementation:

  • Assist in ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations.
  • Support the HR team in compliance-related tasks.

Data Analysis:

  • Compile and analyze HR data for reporting purposes.
  • Assist in generating HR reports and dashboards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of a 2.1 result/CGPA in undergraduate studies.
  • Excellent academic records in WAEC or its equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • NYSC Member serving in Lagos.
