Federal Medical Centre, Ondo State Recruits Medical Officers And Registrars

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the followIng positions at Federal Medical Centre, Owo.

Location:

1.) Medical Officers

2.) Registrars 
in the following disciplines:

• Surgery

• Obstetrics and Gynaecology

• Family Medicine

• Paediatrics

• Internal Medicine
   

1.) Medical Officers: 

Requirements:

• Interested candidates for the post must possess a degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS/MBChB) from a recognised institution. 

• Candidates must have been fully registered by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and must have completed One (01) year mandatory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC).

•  Candidates must also possess current Practising Licence.
   

2.) Registrars: 

Requirements:

• Interested candidates for the post must possess a degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS/MBChB) from a recognised institution. 

• Candidates must have been fully registered by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and must have completed One (01) year mandatory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC).

• Candidates must also possess current Practising Licence.

• Candidates must have also passed the Primary Fellowship Examination of either the National Postgraduate College of Nigeria or West African Postgraduate Medical College in the appropriate discipline.
   

Closing Date;

Tuesday, 2nd October, 2012 by 12.00 noon.
 

Method  Application:

Interested candidates should obtain employment form from the Office of the Medical Director, after payment of non-refundable application fee of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) only. Each candidate must submit Twelve (12) copies of the following documents:

• Employment Form

• Curriculum Vitae

• Photocopies of all relevant certificates, degrees. etc.

• Two (02) copies of recent passport sized photographs to be attached to the application form.

Duly completed application form and the accompanying credentials, documents e.t.c, should reach the Medical Director’s Office.

Referees:

All applicants should request at least Three (03) referees to send confidential reports on them directly to the Medical Director within the closing date.

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview.

Interview will take place on Wednesday, 10th October, 2012 by 10.00 am at the Centre’s Board Room
