Oasis Africa Consulting Limited - Our client, a prominent Drilling organization in Dubai / Nigeria executing projects for major IOC's, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Electrician (Cyber / Jack up / Semi-semisubmersible)

Location: Pinnock Beach Estate - Jakande, Lagos

Job Description

• This is a long-term position and Cyber / Jack up / Semi-semisubmersible experience is essential.
• Chief Electrician responsible for performing duties in the maintenance and repair of electrical systems, equipment, parts ordering and administration of PMS system.
• Should have hands on working experience in drilling Equipment's with in-depth knowledge of testing and repairing.

• Trainings/ Certifications/ Skills:
• Must have good knowledge in PLC, VFD, network Communications types and troubleshooting, computer software, computer hardware and Drilling electrical Equipment's.
• Use electrical schematic and wiring diagram.
• Interpret information from difference sources
• Familiar with cable size international standards.
• Perform basic power calculation.
• Familiar with ABS standards.
• Must has good knowledge of drilling Equips and rig operations.
• Possesses good technical, supervisory and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10 -15 years in onshore or offshore drilling operation.
• BOSIET/HUET/SAS
• Seaman's Book
• Covid Vaccination Certificate.
