Job Title: Head of Operations

Location: Wuse 2, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

• As the Head of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our client's medical facility.
• You will be responsible for overseeing all administrative and operational functions, ensuring that our client's organization runs efficiently, complies with regulations, and provides excellent patient service.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Business Operations with 5 - 10 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Administrative Leadership:Provide strategic leadership to the administrative team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Compliance and Regulations:Ensure that the facility complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including healthcare compliance and accreditation requirements.
• Budget Management:** Develop and manage the facility's budget, ensuring financial sustainability while optimizing resource allocation.
• Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for operational improvements, streamline processes, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
• Quality Assurance:Implement quality assurance programs to maintain and enhance the quality of patient care and administrative services.
• Patient Experience:Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure a positive and seamless patient experience from scheduling to discharge.
• Data Analysis:Utilize data and performance metrics to make informed decisions, identify trends, and drive operational improvements.
• Emergency Preparedness:Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans to ensure the facility's readiness for unexpected events.
• Communication;Maintain open communication with leadership, staff, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Business Administration).
• 5 - 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare administration or a related field.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
• Financial acumen and budget management experience.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
