TeamAce Limited - Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Storekeeper

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming goods and verify their quality and quantity against purchase orders. Inspect the goods for damages or defects and report any discrepancies to the relevant departments. Ensure proper storage and labeling of received items.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management software.
• Regularly update stock levels and generate reports on inventory status. Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and take necessary corrective actions.
• Storage and Organization: Ensure that the store is properly organized and all items are stored in designated locations. Implement a system for easy retrieval of goods and maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store.
• Stock Control: Monitor stock levels and initiate reordering when necessary. Coordinate with procurement departments to ensure timely replenishment of stock. Implement stock rotation methods to minimize wastage and spoilage.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain necessary documentation related to stock, such as invoices, delivery notes, and stock transfer forms. Generate regular inventory reports for management review.
• Coordination: Collaborate with different departments, including production, procurement, and quality control, to ensure smooth flow of goods. Communicate any stock-related issues or concerns to the relevant stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a store keeper in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Excellent knowledge of inventory management and control procedures.
• Familiarity with inventory management software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 gross.
