We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Freetown, Sierra Leone
Employment Type: Full-time

Competencies & Abilities

• Introduction and implementation of sound accounting principles, capable of ensuring smooth operations and effective running of the Brand.
• Responsible for the mobilization of the rest of the accounting team, for the purpose of achieving maximum results.
• Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.
• Responsible for the preparation of the company’s monthly cash flow instrument for the attention of the MD.
• Responsible for the day-to-day business affairs of the entire department.
• It shall be your sole responsibility to ensure that Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Reports prepared by the accounting team are accurate and professionally put together.
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial, commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
• Generate financial reports and statements to Management for review.
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
• Payroll management
• Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues determine budget variances, and report the same to management.
• Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.

Educational Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Accounting
• At least 5 years experience in a similar role.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in the use of Sage ERP and Microsoft Excel
• Willingness and Readiness to relocate to Sierra Leone (Freetown).
