We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales / Marketing Executive (Corporate Sales)

Location: Airport Road, Ajao Estate, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies: Utilize your expertise in the sales of raw materials to develop innovative strategies that will drive revenue growth and expand our customer base. Collaborate with the sales team to set targets and develop action plans to achieve them.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities: Proactively identify potential clients and industries where our raw materials can be utilized. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads, and effectively convert them into long-term business partnerships.
  • Build and nurture client relationships: Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in client organizations. Understand their unique requirements, provide exceptional customer service, and offer tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • Conduct market research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Analyze market data to identify new market segments, evaluate pricing strategies, and make informed business recommendations.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations: Create compelling sales presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value proposition of our raw materials. Present these materials to potential clients, addressing their concerns and highlighting the benefits of our products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with our product development, operations, and marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies. Provide valuable insights from the market to influence product enhancements and support the development of effective marketing campaigns.
  • Achieve sales targets: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company. Track sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to the management team.
  • Industry knowledge: In-depth understanding of raw materials, their applications, and the industries they serve. Familiarity with market dynamics, pricing models, and competitor analysis within the industry.
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to deliver impactful presentations, negotiate effectively, and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Results-oriented mindset: Proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Team player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, share insights, and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of successful sales experience in the raw materials industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Experience in B2B corporate sales is highly desirable.
  • Industry knowledge: In-depth understanding of raw materials, their applications, and the industries they serve. Familiarity with market dynamics, pricing models, and competitor analysis within the industry.
