Microsoft Nigeria: HR Manager

Microsoft Nigeria is hiring a HR Manager to work in Lagos. Education/Experience 6-8 years of related work experience with at least 4 years in a management capacity working with Sr. level managers. BS in HR, Business, Marketing or related area.

Job Purpose
Provide HR consulting services to a client group in order to build and sustain competitive advantage through people.
Responsibility/Activity Identify, monitor, analyze and present key metrics to managers, directors and VP’s in order to enable good business decisions. Information comes from a variety of sources and must be synthesized and distilled. Analysis is often complex and the data gathering process is constant - using both formal and informal channels. Manages up well by providing specific decision points for upper management with appropriate level of data and recommendation(s) Able to diagnose systems and organizations and provide the correct organizational development intervention. Provide HR account management support to the client group/division.

Education/Experience
6-8 years of related work experience with at least 4 years in a management capacity working with Sr. level managers. BS in HR, Business, Marketing or related area.

Knowledge/Skills Experience in a rapidly changing environment important. Understanding of organizational dynamics and the ability to think strategically important due to the nature of the client group. Knowledge of HR and ability to apply to complex organizational issues. Expert level generalist skills and the ability to mentor and provide guidance to others within HR and the mgmt team on complex issues. Strong consulting and analytical skills are essential. Ability to effectively work and communicate at all levels within the organization. Able to think systemically and address core solution rather than treat symptom.
