We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Internal Control and Compliance Analyst

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Research: Stay current with regulatory changes and developments affecting the industry and organization.
• Compliance Monitoring: Conduct regular compliance assessments and audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Reporting: Prepare compliance reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Training: Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees to promote awareness and understanding of compliance obligations.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential risks to the organization's assets, data integrity, and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Internal Control Evaluation: Evaluate existing internal control procedures and processes to ensure they are effective in mitigating identified risks.
• Control Implementation: Develop and implement internal control procedures and policies to address identified risks and weaknesses.
• Monitoring and Testing: Conduct regular testing and monitoring of internal controls to ensure their ongoing effectiveness.
• Training and Awareness: Provide training and awareness programs to employees to ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, ensuring the organization's compliance.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• The candidate must be a Chartered Accountant.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in internal control analysis or related roles.
• Strong understanding of internal control concepts and methodologies.
• Proficiency in risk assessment and control evaluation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 / month.
