Job Description

• We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Officer to join our team.
• As a Sales Officer, your primary role will be to acquire new merchants and generate revenue for our Transaction Finance company.
• You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with merchants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new merchants and generate revenue
• Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential customers
• Negotiate contracts and terms with merchants
• Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Product, and Operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field is an added advantage
• At least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role
• Experience in the transaction finance industry is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Abia (Igbo Speaker), Enugu (Igbo Speaker), Ogun (Yoruba Speaker).

Remuneration (Fixed + Variable Pay)
Fixed:

• Gross Salary: N146,343 Monthly.
• Airtime, Data & Transport Stipend: N60,000.

Variable:

• Commissions: 7.5% of Total Net Revenue Generated per month. There is no cap on what you can earn.
• High performers earn up to 5-10x their monthly salary in additional commissions per month.
