Job Title: Back-End Developer

Job Description

• As a Back-end Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our digital platforms and applications, ensuring their functionality, usability, and seamless integration.
• You will work closely with our Engineering team and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that drive our internal projects and portfolio companies' success.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define API specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services and APIs.
• Implement data storage solutions, including databases and caching mechanisms.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using programming languages like [mention relevant languages, e.g., Python, Java, Node.js].
• Ensure the security and privacy of user data by implementing best practices and security measures.
• Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Debug and resolve backend issues and collaborate with the team to identify root causes.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in backend development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).
• Experience with backend frameworks and technologies (e.g., Django, Spring Boot, Express.js).
• Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases).
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with performance tuning and profiling of backend systems.
