Your Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic University Representative to join our team in Nigeria.
The University Representative will serve as the face of one of our premium partner universities based in the UK, promoting their programs, assisting prospective recruiter agencies and students through the application process, and fostering strong relationships with educational institutions, students, recruiter partners and stakeholders in Nigeria.
Your Impact
This role will lead on the development and implementation of outreach, marketing, and recruitment strategies to increase the number of full-time on-campus undergraduate and postgraduate students from Africa.
The role will also support partnership development and study abroad recruitment. The University’s student population is uniquely diverse, and the Recruitment Manager will value and recruit for diversity.
Your Backstory
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, Marketing, Business, etc.).
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities.
Knowledge of the Nigerian education system and university admissions processes for UK
A valid passport and no history of UK visa rejections.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Willingness to travel
Previous experience in overseas education recruitment, sales or admissions at a UK university is a must.
Your Contribution
University Brand Ambassador: Represent and promote the partner university's brand and programs across various regions in Nigeria.
Collaboration with Recruitment Agencies: Partner with recruitment agencies and promote the partner university across the network. Drive enrollment numbers via the B2B channel.
Admissions Support: Assist students and agencies throughout the application process, offering guidance on application forms, required documents, and deadlines.
Event Coordination: Organize and participate in university fairs, information sessions, workshops, and webinars to attract potential students and maintain a strong presence in the Nigerian education market.
Relationship Building: Develop and nurture relationships with high schools, colleges, educational counselors, and other relevant stakeholders to establish a strong network in the education industry.
Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and changes in Nigerian education policies to provide valuable insights to the partner university and Adventus.io.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of interactions with agencies and prospective students, document feedback, and provide regular reports on activities and achievements to Adventus and the partner university.
