We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cost Accountant

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Details

• Ensure Factory Costing Reports are made available as required
• Conduct periodic financial analysis to identify and resolve issues, gaps or variances.
• Manage cash controls as well as maintain up-to-date book keeping
• Assist in budget preparation and management activities.
• Assist in Tax Management and Planning.
• Ensure maintenance of the general and subsidiary ledgers.
• Track investments and maintain relevant cash reserves.
• Ensure all expenses are within assigned project budget.
• Ensure account receivables and payables activities are performed accurately and timely.
• Ensure that financial transactions are properly updated and recorded.
• Manage the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, expense reports, etc.
• Ensure data integrity in all financial reporting.
• Update financial records with recent transactions and changes.
• Perform finance analysis, reporting and management tasks.
• Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial related issues.
• Coordinate the preparation of bank reconciliation statements to ensure all items are captured correctly and display understanding of the Company’s bank reconciliation processes.
• Understand and manage all aspects of cash flow, prepare forecasted weekly/monthly cash requirements and execute management financing decisions.
• Provide any other support and analysis as may be required.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related discipline.
• Professional Certification (ICAN, ACCA, etc.) .

Experience:

• Must have a minimum of 3 years post-graduation experience.
• Experience in Job Costing in a Manufacturing setting.
