Job Title: Mathematics Teacher & ICT Administrator

Job Summary

• The Mathematics Teacher & ICT Administrator at QEFAS Preparatory School will serve a dual role by providing high-quality mathematics education to students preparing for both local and international examinations, while also being responsible for the school’s ICT infrastructure, including website maintenance and computer hardware management.

Responsibilities
Mathematics Teaching:

• Prepare and deliver lessons in Mathematics to students of different grades, targeting local and international examinations such as GCE, GRE, SAT, UTME, and WAEC.
• Develop individualized learning plans to cater to the needs of each class.
• Conduct formative and summative assessments to evaluate student performance and understanding.
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to maximize student achievement.
• Keep up-to-date records of students’ performance, attendance, and other relevant information.

ICT Administration:

• Oversee the maintenance and regular updating of the school website.
• Administer and maintain the school’s computing devices, including laptops, projectors, and other related technology.
• Provide technical support and training for staff and students as needed.
• Assist in the procurement and setup of new hardware and software.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data protection measures.

General:

• Attend staff meetings and undergo professional development as required.
• Collaborate with school leadership for continuous improvement of educational and administrative purposes.

Qualifications

• A B.Sc, M.Sc or PhD Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certified to teach Mathematics at the educational level offered by the school.
• Proven experience in ICT Administration, programming, including website maintenance and hardware management.
• Proficient in the use of learning management systems and other educational technology.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Residency near the school's location, or a willingness to relocate, to reduce transportation expenses.

Remuneration
Competitive salary (N100,000 - N200,000 Monthly) and benefits, including ongoing professional development opportunities.
