Job Title: Head of Accounts Department

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• Provides Strategic financial input to increase revenue and reduce costs while keenly overseeing the overall
• Assigned duties to guards accordingly and frequent monitoring of every station a security guard is manning
• Regular routine check and scanning of customers entering the mall.

Duties

• Develops, supervises and implements all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Manages, supervises and provides financial requirements for the department.
• Plans, controls and implements the annual budgeting process.
• Preparation of regular financial reports, profit and cash flow forecasts, analyses and other accounting reports.
• Preparation of annually, quarterly and monthly management accounts reports and year-end accounts respectively and ensuring they are produced on a timely basis.
• Ability to meet deadlines at all times for board and top management meetings.
• Analyses financial discrepancies and recommends effective solutions.
• Monitors expenditures, analyzes revenues and determines budget variances.
• Monitors financial transactions and ensures compliance with the Order policies and procedures.

Education & Skills Required

• Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting / Financial Management.
• Fellow / Certification of a Financial Professional body is a must, (ICAN, ACA or ACCA)
• Masters in Accounting/Finance is an added advantage.
• 6 - 8 years’ experience in a Senior position.
• Proven experience in Finance Analysis, Financial Reports and Large Budgets.
• Preferred age range is 35 - 45 years old.

Work schedule:

• 9am to 9pm Monday to Saturday (6 days of the week and 1 day off).
• Business opens 365 days in a year.

Remuneration
N600,000 - N800,000 Net Monthly.
