We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Manager, Operations & Organization

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We require the service of a manager, of operations & organization.
  • You will be responsible for overseeing activities across functions in the Next Level Prayer Ministry (NLP) which includes creating efficient systems and processes as well as managing & improving already established procedures.
  • You will also serve as the Chief of Staff for the NLP and all perform administrative duties.
  • He or she is responsible for the effectiveness and efficiency of the employees within the team and performs other functions set out by the Director of NLP.

Job Responsibilities
Overall Operational & Organization Effectiveness:

  • Implementing/improving effective organizational processes and standards
  • Liaise with superior to make decisions for operational activities and create strategic goals
  • Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
  • Oversee Staff support processes and organize them to enhance employee satisfaction/retention
  • Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability/sustainability.
  • Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors
  • Ensure that the Church runs with legality and conformity to established regulations
  • Reporting on the operational progress of the church to aid in strategic decision-making

Team Management and Alignment:

  • Eliminate duplicity of efforts by ensuring that responsibilities are assigned with an umbrella view of the organization
  • Ensure that goals and projects are communicated in a way that shows collaborating teams.
  • Ensure that team priorities are in sync and that no one is sabotaging the efforts of the other.
  • Resolve conflicts and ensure that team health and harmony are always at their best.

Goal Achievement:

  • Understand the goals of the organization and create a road map for getting there
  • Work with individual teams and units to understand their goals and map out execution strategies
  • Ensure that goal achievements do not fall below the agreed standard by driving agreed execution strategies and holding teams accountable for their goals
  • Review performance and come up with strategies to resolve issues that may be affecting performance and productivity
  • Ensure that work is powered by processes and systems and that everyone is in adherence to our system and processes.
  • Ensure that everyone works within stipulated timelines.

Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Create reporting templates that fully capture all team activities and goal areas
  • Create report summary sheets to be used as the Campus Pastor’s oversight reports
  • Ensure that reports are properly reviewed and properly archived for ease of access

Strategic lead on High Profile Projects:

  • Take a lead on new projects, create strategies, assign responsibilities, and hold staff accountable for deliverables within set timelines.
  • Ensure execution of strategies for smooth operations of the back-office support function within the campus

Leadership:

  • Provide administrative and ministerial leadership for the campus in accordance with the vision of the church.
  • Gives direct oversight to the 5-purpose department at the campus.

Reporting:

  • Reports to be prepared timely, accurately, and submitted to the Director of NLP

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Candidates should possess HND / B.Sc  / M.Sc / MBA Degrees in Social Sciences / Management / Arts or any other related field
  • Additional professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
  • 5 to 10 years of work experience in a related environment 3 of which must be in a managerial position
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and social media web platforms.
  • Ability to create new ideas, relationships, or systems including creative contributions.
  • Must possess very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with strong attention to detail.
  • Analytical thinker, Strategic Decision maker and must be trustworthy and high on Integrity
  • Process Driven and Must be a self-starter requiring little or no supervision
  • A committed born-again Christian, with a personal and active relationship with God
  • Please note - Interested candidates should be willing to align with the following work structure

Work days:

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday (Half Day)
  • Off days: Mondays & Saturdays.

Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 Monthly plus other benefits.
