Cold Slab Ice Creamery is an ice cream brand that solely specialises in the production and selling of different ice cream flavours with chocolate toppings and pizza to customers.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cafe / Store Manager

Job Description

• Looking for a Cafe/Store Manager with at least 3 years experience to solely manage an ice cream and pizza store. Applicant must possess highly related experience in an en eatery with very good managerial and leadership skills.
• Must be able to make critical decisions while being very innovative.
• Must be very charismatic and vibrant with the ability to relate and engage well with customers while establishing rapport with customers to increase repeat customer output in the store.
• Salary is highly negotiable depending on the level of related experience in managing a cafe with evidence of increased overall productivity.

Responsibilities
In order to meet the eligibility criteria to be considered for the job, applicants should carefully address the following selection criteria for the job in a cover letter as only applications with a cover letter addressing the requirements of the job will be considered. The selection criteria;

• Demonstrate how you have applied leadership and good organisational and managerial skills to improve the store performance and productivity while citing verifiable practical examples.
• Demonstrate what effective stock control is in a food business and how you can develop, implement and manage an effective stock control system while citing examples where you have applied a good stock control system.
• What innovative ideas you can bring to a food business to overhaul the overall store performance in terms of sales and staff productivity.
• Demonstrate how you can effectively engage customers to feel at home while dinning in store and how you can build rapport with customers.
• Demonstrate how can you manage customer complaints and illustrate with examples how you have done this.
• Demonstrate how can meet sales target of the store.
• Demonstrate how you can develop the social media handles of the store.
• Illustrate how you can use your interpersonal skills to drive business growth.
• All points must be addressed in not more than a 2 pager.

Requirements

• Class of Bachelor's / HND degree is not a requirement for selection but relevant experience is.
• Experience in a well recognised brand, bakery shop, eatery, ice cream and pizza production is an added advantage.
• Relocation allowance would be provided if outside of Enugu and the job is only open to candidates happy for an immediate start and happy to commit upto 1 year tenure.
• Training on the job will not provided hence if you have not managed a food business in the past do not apply as your application will not be considered.
• Two referees must be provided to confirm any claimed experience and the referees must be managers you have worked with in the past.
• Additionally, two guarantor details will be provided if successful.
• You must be a lover of ice cream and pizza as here at Cold Slab Ice Creamery is all about having a fun filled experience while smashing our ice cream with different chocolate toppings. Ice cream is all about having fun and you must be a jovial and happy person.

Remuneration
N150,000 - N200,000 / month.
