Halcom Management Services (HMS) - Our client, an international standard, multi-speciality, acute hospital located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2024. Facilities and services provided include: emergency care, surgical, medical, internal medicine, family medicine, renal care, gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics, pathology, physiotherapy radiology and pharmacy. Skilled and professional staff form the foundation of a well-run hospital. Job Title: Handyman / Technician

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Department: Technical and Maintenance

Summary of Responsibilities

• Responsible for undertaking a variety of general maintenance tasks, efficiently and to a high standard, working both as a member of a team or alone.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance completed.
• Provide basic technical assistance such as the setting up and cleaning of equipment, setting parameters, checking doses, and overseeing processes.

Job Requirements

• Candidates should possess WASSCE / SSCE or equivalent
• Previous general maintenance experience
• Previous experience in a hospital environment an advantage 
• Ability to undertake a variety of general maintenance tasks, efficiently and to a high standard, working both as a member of a team or alone.
• Attention to detail
• Good Communication skills in English
• Ability to engage various stakeholders and must be able to deliver exceptional customer service.
