Halcom Management Services (HMS) - Our client, an international standard, multi-speciality, acute hospital located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2024. Facilities and services provided include: emergency care, surgical, medical, internal medicine, family medicine, renal care, gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics, pathology, physiotherapy radiology and pharmacy. Job Title: Data Administrator (I.S.H.MED)

Summary of Responsibilities

• Plays a critical role in managing and maintaining the hospital’s Integrated Hospital Information System (I.S.H.Med).
• This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, security, and accessibility of healthcare data, optimizing system performance, and supporting healthcare professionals in using the system effectively.
• Ensures the efficient and secure management of healthcare data within the hospital, supporting clinicians and administrators in delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining data integrity and compliance with healthcare regulations

Job Requirements

• Candidates should possess an WASSCE/SSCE or equivalent 
• Technical certifications or associated degree
• Qualification in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is an advantage 
• Proven experience in healthcare data administration and managing healthcare information systems, with a focus on I.S.H.Med or similar platforms
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and privacy laws
• Strong technical skills and proficiency with healthcare information systems and related software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
