Role Overview

• Our clients rely on our technical expertise and ability to deliver value. The Project Management team plays an instrumental role in ensuring the seamless delivery of Software and SRE /DevOps services to our clients, in line with their expectations.
• As an Agile Delivery Lead, you will be the golden thread on multiple projects that ensures alignment between both client requirements and internal delivery, from inception to completion of a project.
• You will work closely with the Technical Leads within the Software Engineering or SRE team, and report to either the Director of Software Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering.

What you will be doing

• Lead multiple small to large scale Dev- and SecOps projects, alongside the Technical Lead, from proposal through discovery and delivery.
• Plan, manage and drive project delivery, ensuring projects remain within scope, timeline and budget.
• Ensure projects are properly resourced, communicating resource requirements promptly.
• Schedule and facilitate all project meetings and agile ceremonies (Scrum and Kanban).
• Participate in scoping sessions, and prioritise delivery with clients.
• Work closely with the Technical Lead to create and maintain a backlog, ensuring milestones are planned and features are broken down into actionable pieces of work.
• Facilitate and gather effort estimates from the team to produce cost estimates and timelines.
• Facilitate communication between the client and the Deimos team to resolve any dependencies and impediments.
• Identify and manage project risks and ensure any concerns are escalated to appropriate channels.
• Establish, gather, analyse and report on key KPIs to measure the overall success of the project delivery, as well as the team’s effectiveness.
• Be responsible for project resource scheduling and forecasting, working closely with the DevOps team managers and director.
• Shape and own the agile delivery framework for DevSecOps.

What you must have

• 3 or more years of experience in Project Management and Project Ownership, with a good understanding of the SDLC and DevSecOps workflow.
• A good understanding and experience in Kanban and Scrum deliveries.
• Experience with resource scheduling and forecasting.
• The ability to take ownership and manage several projects concurrently.
• Exceptional organisational, time-management and multi-tasking skills.
• Accurate reporting skills and proven risk identification and resolution abilities.
• Confidence to build, grow and manage client relationships.

Not a deal-breaker, and would be a plus:

• Qualification or certification in Project Management / Scrum Master / Agile Project Management/ Agile Product Owner.
• Remote working experience (managing remote teams and clients, working asynchronously).
