• As a Material Purchasing Officer at Westingate Global Enterprise WA LTD, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials for our production and operations.

Your responsibilities will include

• Vendor Management: Identify and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms, and secure the best pricing and quality for materials.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze market trends, pricing, and costs to make informed purchasing decisions and minimize expenses.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that purchased materials meet the required standards and specifications.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities, including invoices, contracts, and correspondence.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Budget Compliance: Ensure that material purchases align with the allocated budget and make recommendations for cost-saving measures.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as production, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless material procurement and distribution.
• Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and suppliers to optimize the procurement process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field.
• 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience in purchasing or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
